Lucked out and got a beautiful spot on the very end of the row by the river. Staff met me at the site and guided me as I backed the coach into my site. The owners and staff keep a very clean and quiet Campground . Enjoyed it to the max. We highly recommend it for a night or for a few days. Close to all the entertainm ents in Pigeon Forge but far enough away to enjoy the peace that East Tennessee is famous for.

We stayed for 3 nights, had a space by the river. It was nice and quiet and the snow was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Good WIFi, Cable was really good. Laundry room was really nice. We hope to go back this summer.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We are new to the camping world and this was the campground we chose for our maiden voyage. The folks are so welcoming and helpful! Larry is the best. He helped us get all set up and checked on us numerous times. He treated us liked family! We will definitely be back here and highly recommend this campground! It's located right off RT 66 in Sevierville along side the river. Peaceful and relaxing!!

Great experience!

We stayed here for a long weekend, and had a positive experience all the way around. We stayed in # 10, which had a gravel drive and concrete pad. It backed up to the river, and offered a nice view of sunset. When I made reservations it was explained to me that the rate would be 3% more if I used a card, so we were prepared and brought cash. Also, the cancellation policy was explained, so I feel everything was covered. The lady who checked us in could not have been any nicer.....all in all, it was a nice visit. The campground is small, but they have large pull through spaces for the bigger rigs. Wifi was great....worked the entire time we were there. A bit of road noise, as it's right on the main drag, and there's a helicopter tour business across the road, so they were frequently flying around...but hubby is a former pilot, so it didn't bother us a bit. Would definitely go back again!

Great location. Easy on and off highway. Tho near highway very quiet. Near many local attractions. Nicely laid out park with nice green space between sites. Clear signage for sites and "roads" within park.
Office/ store at entrance. Personal very friendly. Assist you to your site. Full hookups. Sites are level and gravel. Picnic tables each site. Park Backs up to river.
Small pool. Bath house.
Park very clean.
Does have one outer row of RVs that appear to be of more permanent nature but this works well as not mixed in with vacationers/ short stay.
Is a Good Sam park.
Will definitely stay again.

My fiance and I camped here overnight for one night in December with our small travel trailer, when we were on a Christmas break road trip from Alabama to Rhode Island. We arrived late the night we were checking in, and were pretty much the only campers here, except for a partial row of big RVs that must be extended stay-ers.
It was SO cold when we were here. We had to unhook the water hook ups before we went to bed because the temps were below freezing.
The campground bathrooms were heated, thank goodness! The bathrooms/showers were very spacious and very clean. Some of the best we've run across. They weren't anything fancy, but they were clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated.
The next morning, when we checked out, we visited the campground office/store. They have a well-packed store of misc. camping items. The man and woman running the place were very friendly and helpful. You could even get your propane tanks refilled here, which we did. The best part was, they had a beautiful and friendly cat in the office (which was great for me since I'm a crazy cat lady!)
Ironically, this summer, my mother and I were on a different kind of road trip and drove right past this campground on the way to our hotel. We were in the area to visit relatives nearby and also to go to Dollywood. Further down the road from where this campground is, is the very touristy / busy Pigeon Forge area. This campground is on the outskirts of that madness, and it's in a great location to be fairly closeby to all the touristy stuff, but also far enough away from it to not have to deal with it, at the same time!
There is nothing fancy about the campground. It is literally spot after spot after spot and I'm sure if it's very busy, campers are all packed in. If you catch it in a slower season like we did, you will have wide open spaces around you; but in the summer time, I bet it's a different story.
The location, price, comfort, friendliness, helpfulness of this campground and its owners are what makes this a fabulous place to stay. We sincerely enjoyed it, and will look it up again if we are in the area.
    Thank you for your hospitality!

Very accommodating!

The perfect place for us, quiet and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Once a staff person met you he/she always had a friendly greeting for you and information if you ask questions. We had a mechanical issue when we pulled in and the manager was very helpful getting us names on local services. We travel with a dog and felt very comfortable with her there. The sites are roomy and level, the grounds are well kept. The buildings and pool are in good condition. I didn't have time to use the laundry but was impressed with an oversized machine being available. I talked to several campers who come back year after year. Would definitely go back if we are through the area again.

We last camped at Ripplin Waters in late April of 2013. It is a great place to relax because it's so quiet and peaceful. I suggest you get a campsite on the river because that just adds to the experience. The owners are very nice people who will help you in any way. Our site was clean and well maintained. They also have a swimming pool and rental cabins. It's close to Sevierville restaurants and stores. It had rained a good deal so the river was up as you can see in the picture.

We stayed here four nights in November. We backed up to the river and the nearest occupied site was six away. Campground was clean, staff helpful in leading us to site and helping get backed in. Was a little tight because of the trees but sites are good size, although with a large unit on either side, it may get a little close. There are a large number of apparently at least semi-permanent residents along the row nearest the highway but they are well maintained for the most part. Park is handy to I-40 and the tourist sites in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg if you take the trolley; pick it up at Walmart. Staff gave recommendations for places to eat that were great. Down side was spotty internet and the fact that you have to make a right turn out of park, meaning you have to find a place to turn around to get back to I-40. Not a problem in November but would not want to try it in July. Rate was with GS discount. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

internet services are now one of the fastest in the area; as of January 2017, our Wi-Fi service has been upgraded with new equipment providing quick and easy access (see legal page for disclaimers). Thank you for your observations. Meeting the needs of our customers, with Warm Regards, Management.

Nice park, very friendly and helpful at the front desk. We were met at our site and again were made to feel welcome. We soon realized that location was a big plus. It's just off I-40 before you get too far into the horrendous traffic through Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Tough enough sitting in traffic in your car, but navigating that congestion with an RV would be much worse. Park was clean, and with our Good Sam card the price was good given the heavy tourist interest. Folks were friendly and we went to a church service at the pavilion sponsored by a local congregation. Only problem was with spotty Wi-Fi performance. I wouldn't be in a hurry to go to that area again, but if we did I'd definitely return to Ripplin. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

Following a last-minute decision to take the camper out on a long holiday weekend -- and to a typically crowded "tourist spot," to boot -- we believe we made a good choice with this campground. Thanks to a cancellation, we were able to get a riverside site (our rate reflects Good Sam for this type site), which proved to be very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful on the phone and at check-in, and a staffer in a golf cart led me to our site and helped me back the camper in, which is always greatly appreciated. Our site was level and plenty spacious for our 29' TT w/ slideout. This campground was generally very quiet (tho it is across the highway from one of the local helicopter tour operations, which is a sound we eventually got used to while outside), and appeared to be well maintained. Our grandson greatly enjoyed the nice pool (well, we did, too), and the adjacent bath house was very clean with good upkeep. There's also a small playground which we didn't visit. The free Wi-Fi was hit-or-miss while inside our camper (perhaps a function of being near the far end of the property), but no issues while outside. A big plus in my (i.e., the driver's) view was this campground's general location -- close enough to the various local attractions, but not "too close" as to be a traffic hassle, and close enough to I-40 to beat much of the departing traffic at the end of our stay. Should we opt for this trip again (we live ~90 minutes away), we would definitely consider returning here. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Travel Trailer.

My family loved the park. It was clean and quiet. The river site was great. It needs a better playground for the kids, but overall it is a great park for the money. We camped at Ripplin Waters Campground in a Travel Trailer.
