Nature provides secluded scenic river beauty and fishing (license required for humans; raccoons' fish unlicensed) combined with all forms of forest and river life (nocturnal & diurnal) for photography buffs and wildlife enthusiasts. This includes, but is not limited to aquatic life such as muskrat, otters, fish (stripers-large & smallmouth bass, walleye, perch, catfish, drum & carp), nocturnal (Woody the) woodchuck(s) (at least one) to our ever present diurnal squirrels. Birdlife (humming birds) to Woody Woodpecker, which is a very large woodpecker; for those with an Audubon eye and/or camera and their abundant food sources (for aspiring entomologists) .
Ripplin' Waters Campground provides:
a clean well stocked playground area.
clean modern bath houses,
a coin operated laundry,
well stocked camp store (ice, foodstuffs, snacks, RV supplies
including LP gas) public phones and
a pavilion for gatherings with occasional weekend live entertainment that is free (church service held Sundays).
